Marketing at Cushing Terrell:
The marketing team is the face of our firm. We’re looking for a spirited Marketing Coordinator who can help tell our story out of our Billings, MT office.

As the marketing coordinator, you’ll be handling proposal pursuits, creative marketing collateral, and event planning for the seven Market Sectors that we serve: Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Living and Retail. In addition, we’ll need you to stay on top of the nuts and bolts like qualification packets, personnel resumes, and project narratives to ensure materials are current and aligned with our set standards.
You’ll also be trusted to take the lead on awareness efforts for some of our vertical markets, including but not limited to the development of press releases, trade press articles, and award submittals, as well as the creation of social media and thought leadership content. You will be the main point of contact for many different proposals and marketing materials that leaves our doors, which means regular collaboration with the graphic design team and spearheading the research and record keeping (think tracking meetings and organizing the archives).
Cushing Terrell’s vertical markets work with a number of high-profile clients, so your attention to detail, strong writing skills, and forward-thinking character will be critical to keeping us competitive.

As a Marketing Coordinator you…

  • Lead the development, organization, production, and tracking of proposals and other marketing materials, acting as researcher, author, and project manager
  • Evaluate technical content to ensure it satisfies the RFP/RFQ requirements and turn it into something beautiful and digestible for submittal
  • Act as journalist within the market, asking questions and building content in support of TOFU awareness and consideration phases
  • Conduct market and trend research using a variety of sources including our internal database as well as industry news sources, and share established opportunities with vertical market leadership
  • Can write both creatively and technically and are able to switch comfortably between the two at a moment’s notice
  • Assist with the development of vertical market strategy, and track and report performance on a quarterly basis
  • Nourish and track client relationships using our CRM and a variety of creative touchpoints (e.g. Vertical market newsletters or appreciation gifts)
  • Document and attend trade shows, speaking engagements, and networking opportunities to promote Cushing Terrell’s portfolio, boost overall visibility, and generate leads
You’ll be a great fit if you…
  • Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or Communications
  • Have marketing experience, preferably in a content marketing capacity
  • Are detail oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Always get called upon for your grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and editing knowledge
  • Have been praised by past supervisors for your time management skills
  • Are comfortable working “regular” business hours with the occasional need to put in some overtime
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign)
  • Know and love the CRM, particularly Deltek Vision and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Have a passion for or familiarity with contemporary architecture and design
  • Can work just as well independently as you can with a team
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
