Summary: The Treasury Accountant would be responsible for assisting the Treasury Manager with the daily administration, accounting, and reconciliation of bank transactions on company bank accounts.
They would follow policies and procedures to meet corporate objectives, needs, and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Treasury Manager – Accounts and Compliance.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Prepare spreadsheets and complete data entry into Accounting programs
Assist in managing daily cash flow and preparing wire transactions
Create & Maintain loan schedules, letters of credit, and bank account signatories
Prepare branch transfers and schedules for intercompany bank transactions
Assist locations in bank and merchant transaction investigations
Update and maintain lists user access entitlements and authorized ACH vendors
Coordinate with internal departments on bank file submissions for A/P and payroll
Process centralized credit card transactions for National Account customers
Provide training and assistance to users of banking and merchant products
Compile data, analyze, and distribute monthly merchant statements for locations
Have a basic understanding of the PCI Compliance Standards for merchant card
Participate in bank relationship discussions and follow ups
Assist Manager with any other projects
Temporarily assume Manager’s duties in his absence
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of accounting software and ability to quickly learn company software
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and critically think on matters
Good accounting knowledge, including foreign exchange and investments
Understands banking concepts and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Attention to detail and dependable on tasks assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting preferred
3 years’ experience in related field
Experience in corporate banking, web portals, and fraud control products
