Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon, Wisconsin delivers specialty and 24/7 emergency care and walk-in appointments at our Urgent Care clinic. We provide advanced surgical care for serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Our care teams listen to understand your health needs and deliver care that's right for you. Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee is a destination for specialty care - including heart and vascular health, cancer care, wound care, orthopedics and surgery. Our OB-GYN maternity care teams at our Birthing Center deliver a personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a wide range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging and lab tests, a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus.
This is a part time position, and is benefit eligible
Rotating shifts, 8 hour shifts
What You Will Do: Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.
Greet patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and schedule patients for appointments. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls. Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Create various reports and documents.
Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
Perform unit safety checks. Assist with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.
May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.
May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
