An exciting growth opportunity has recently opened for an Clinical Nursing Manager to oversee the Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU in this Southern California ASC. Join this growing health system, and meet a team that consistently delivers outstanding patient care.
This busy Ambulatory Surgery Center in Orange County is looking for a strong Nursing Leader to join the team and take oversight of the PreOp and PACU areas. The Clinical PACU Manager will work in a Surgery Center that offers a wide array of Same-Day Outpatient Perioperative Services including Cosmetics, Hand Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Gastroenterology (GI) and ENT. The schedule tends to stay very full in this 2 Operating Room and 2 Procedure Room ASC, with over half of the total case volume coming from GI / Endo.
Reporting to the Ambulatory Surgery Center’s Director of Nursing, and working alongside an experienced RN Operating Room Manager, the PACU Clinical Manager will help lead Nursing and Patient Care operations in this 4 Room ASC. Directly supported by an experienced CAPA Certified PreOp/PACU RN Lead, this person will join a tightknit team of Recovery Nurses, PreOp RNs, Anesthesiologists, and Support Technicians.
As the PACU and PreOp Leader for the ASC, the Clinical Nursing Manager will take accountability for staff education and clinical development, mentorship and employee engagement, and regular patient care duties as well.
One of the most iconic regions of California, the Orange County has something for everyone. The ASC Clinical PACU Manager will discover that anything they want is just a short drive away. A bit west, and your toes are dipped in the sun-warmed sand of the Pacific Ocean. A short drive north, and you’ll find the heart of Los Angeles, with all the lights, cameras, and action that make it so irresistible for so many. No matter where the Director decides to play, they’ll find some of the Southern California’s best schools, an amazing quality of life, and a slower pace all around the area.
The Post Anesthesia Care Nursing Manager will serve in a full-time role, and will take responsibility for a growing department that is as critical as it is complex. To help you meet that challenge, you will be supported by a generous benefits package and a competitive compensation.
