Job Description:

Are you passionate about quality and developing quality management systems? If so, PPG has an exciting opportunity at our PPG Aerospace facility in Dallas, TX! As a Quality Manager , you will lead all aspects of the implementation of Quality Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Report to Management on the performance of the Quality Management System, and use this information as a basis for continuous improvement of the system while satisfying the requirements of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Act as a liaison with external parties such as customers or auditors on matters relating to the QMS.
• Ensuring that customer requirements are identified, product conformity and on time delivery are measured, and appropriate actions taken if planned results are not acquired.
• Lead all aspects of the collection and reporting of customer feedback to Management.
• Responsible for verifying configuration management implementation activities.
• Collecting and providing information regarding planned changes that could affect the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality planning needs.
• Identify trends in the process, and serve as member of Risk management team to help identify changes to Risk Analyses / Process Failure Mode & Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), when trends reveal that the risk severity, occurrence, or detection exceeds those previously ranked.
• Scheduling, initiating, and coordinating the audits and maintaining the master schedule.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and reporting results of internal audits to management.
• Ensure that appropriate statistical techniques are implemented and applied at strategic points within the QMS.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field required, Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in the field of Quality and/or Manufacturing Management, ASQ Certification a plus
• 10 years' experience of working in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to balance multiple projects, develop timelines, and finalizing existing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications for customer requests, and conduct statistical analysis and capability studies.
• Digital literacy in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
