Analyze capital spend requests for global business, ensuring proper justification prior to obtaining management approvals. Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions. Assist with the preparation for and execution of the global annual business planning/business review process and periodic updates. Leads the standard cost roll process for North America working with sourcing teams to ensure outliers are addressed, all SKU's are rolled, and that inactive items are cleansed from the system. Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by management. Reporting (20%) Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Provide monthly reporting and analysis including financial dashboards, graphs and reports and provide support as requested in the preparation of internal management reports and presentations. Transactional (15%) Support planning/forecast development process for the functional area. Creates journal entries to support the monthly close process to ensure GAAP compliance.
