 POSITION SUMMARY
 

The Operations Manager – Power Solutions (PS) plays a
critical and hands-on role in the newly formed Power Solutions business,
supporting development of execution and commercial strategies as well as
driving results.  The Operations Manager
manages the work activity related to the Power Solutions business and is
responsible for safety, morale, service quality and efficiency, training,
career development, equipment maintenance, material supply, management of
expenditures, and other duties. This position will recruit, mentor, manage,
motivate all operational personnel including mechanics, technicians, and truck
drivers dedicated to the business segment. 
The Operations Manager ensures that employees under his/her authority
are provided the equipment, supplies, training, and time to accomplish their
assigned missions. Working in conjunction with the support functions and within
the various policies, procedures, and governance structure of the company, the
Operations Manager is accountable for maximizing the growth and performance of
the Power Solutions business segment.

Key Accountabilities

 Essential
Functions

•                    
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the
activities of the Power Solutions operations.

•                    
Ensure that all operational activities relating
to the Power Solutions business are performed safely.

•                    
Develop effective and efficient Operations
organizational structure.  Recruit and
build the operations team including mechanics, technicians, and truck
drivers.  Managing all operational
personnel including day to day activities, scheduling, etc.

•                    
Regularly review financial metrics.  Develop and execute strategies on driving
profitability.

•                    
Conduct regular audits and inspections of Power
Solutions operations. 

•                    
Hold regular communication sessions with
personnel.

•                    
Coordinate with sales and customers directly to
ensure project success and customer satisfaction.  Act as the key point of contact for customers
in the region.

•                    
Ensure equipment is properly operated and
maintained and fit for service relating to the application.

•                    
Liaison between the Control Tower, Frac PSL, and
all other stakeholders to ensure the Power Solutions team operates at maximum
efficiency.

•                    
Build and manage the required supply chain of
maintenance contractors and spare part suppliers.  Manage and minimize spare part inventories.

•                    
Ensure all operational personnel are properly
trained to effectively and safely perform their day to day tasks.  Ensure all personnel have the required
external and internal certifications. 
Drive training content development as required.

Continuously identify and action on improvement
opportunities.

•                    
Perform all activities in a safe and
environmentally sound manner

•

General knowledge of CNG virtual pipeline and
dual fuel technologies.  Proficiency with
hydraulic fracturing a plus.

Knowledge of and skill in project management.

•                    
Ability to analyze ideas and use logic to
determine correct course of action.

•                    
Ability to manage and organize multiple
priorities as well as wear many hats (manage people, safety, project
management, sales, maintenance, financial review).

•                    
Skilled with Microsoft Office and experience
with engineering software and databases.

•                    
Ability to manage while maintaining a hands-on
presence.  This is a working manager
position.
