Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of a Project Supervisor of Peripheral Equipment Operators (Temperature Screener) on a Government contract with a place of performance at New Cumberland PA

Position Responsibilities:

The Project Supervisor is a working supervisor who supervises Peripheral Equipment Operators (POE) that handheld Non-contact Infrared Thermometer for the purpose of screening all personnel entering the Gates at DLA Distribution Susquehanna (DDSP). Personnel entering the Gates will include the Driver and all occupants of the vehicle. Vehicles will include all Passenger vehicles, panel vans and Trucks. The POE will be able to read and record the temperature readings on the handheld Non-contact Infrared Thermometer and identify individuals with in and outside of the tolerance zone. The supervisor will screen and ensure shift leads and POE Screeners are properly screening all personnel entering the gate, are properly counting and recording screened results as well as properly entering hours worked.

• Responsible for a 24/7 team of POE screeners who conduct temperature checks and ask screening questions for all incoming vehicles to include all passengers seeking entry to the installation.
• Manages shifts levels to ensure there are proper personnel levels to allow for the proper flow of personnel entering through the gates avoiding back ups.
• Operate a handheld Non-contact Infrared Thermometer to retrieve a temperature.
• Ensures shift POE Screeners conduct and record individual health care and travel related questions.
• Ensures shift POE Screeners report individual questionnaire responses and temperature to gate access for further direction.
• Ensures shift POE Screeners follow daily procedure checklist for installation entry review and adhere to all training and equipment requirements.
• Ensures shift POE Screeners properly enter hours worked.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• US Citizen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
• Valid state driver's license
• 3 years experience as supervisor of teams of any of the following: Caretaker, Wellness, Daycare workers, Medical Assistant, Home Health Care Aides, Healthcare areas with no degrees preferred.
  
  

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend frequently
• Must be able to work in an environment exposed to inclement weather to include hot, cold, or rain without access to covering.
• Must be able to train personnel on the proper utilization of a handheld Non-contact Infrared Thermometer and record results
• Must be able to ensure personnel are properly recording results, consolidate the results and provide written reports and results to management.
