Marketing department is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Marketing Analytics team as a Marketing Data Analyst. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of analytics experience who thrives in a numbers-oriented, and data-driven environment. As a member of Marketing Analytics team, this role works comfortably at the intersection of data and business operations and is experienced at leveraging data to improve business outcomes. The Marketing Data Analyst is to facilitate a greater understanding of marketing attribution, enrollment performance, marketing pipelines and conversions

  • Perform complex analysis on data sets and business activities within K12’s Marketing, Sales, Enrollment and school data

  • Build and enhance performance reports and dashboards within K12’s Marketing, Enrollment and school data; create data visualizations that can be used by business holders to gain insight and support planning and decision making

  • Improve department reporting procedures, accuracy through automation, and query optimization, as well as manage data integrity

  • Participate in the development of forecasts and predictive models in collaboration with Finance and other team members

  • Provide strategic, tactical and analytical support to various lines of business in marketing teams

  • Conduct market research and analyzing data to determine potential growth for full time school programs.

  • Provide regular status updates and visibility into accomplishments, upcoming activities and roadblocks on projects

  • Utilize Excel, PowerPoint and other tools to create and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.


Minimum Required Qualifications 



  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, or a STEM related field AND

  • 2 years experience as an analyst supporting a business function (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Ops) AND

  • 2 years experience with Excel for analysis, data visualization, reporting AND

  • 2 years experience with SQL, transforming/manipulating data for reporting and analysis OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.


Other Required Qualifications: 



  • Effective written and verbal communications skills

  • Independent self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Experience in reporting developing and delivery

  • Experience with BI tools (including Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Experience in Excel (Pivot table), R, SQL, SAS, or Python

  • Strong proficiency in PC based applications such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

  • Ability to clear required background check

Desired Qualifications:  



  • Experience building multivariate regressions and/or ML models using Python or R

  • Understanding advanced statistics and modern machine learning predictive techniques
