Job Description:

The Strategic Marketing Analyst serves as strategic member of the Retirement Full Service Solutions Marketing Team.  This diverse role holds several responsibilities and requires a strong combination of strategic, technical and creative aptitude.  The individual is responsible for creation, ownership and management of a full range of marketing content, programs, and systems leveraged by Sales and Client-facing teams.  The Strategic Marketing Analyst will serve as a strategic project manager, managing a variety of large and small projects and collaborating with several internal teams and individuals of varying seniority in a fast-paced environment.  The individual in this role will manage the user experience of the Seismic platform for internal teams.  This individual will also work closely with design and editorial teams to manage creative development of content and marketing materials.  Duties for the Strategic Marketing Analyst will include tracking campaign progress, developing various digital marketing materials, updating online assets, and handling general digital marketing activities.  The Analyst will manage the integration and delivery of content and will synthesize and report on metrics and analytics to senior leadership.  Ideal candidates for this role should have a strong blend of digital and content marketing knowledge, including both strategic and practical experience; and a deep sense of curiosity around trends in digital marketing.  Candidates should be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organized, and must be good writers, editors and communicators.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Own and manage several projects, including running stakeholder meetings, and developing and managing project plans and timelines.

  • Manage a central repository for sales content and materials in the Seismic platform, in partnership with other Marketing resources

  • Lead the creation and support of scalable sales content based on and sales priorities

  • Demonstrate exceptional content development skills, through editing, proofreading and updating content, marketing materials and communications.

  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to reliably communicate project and campaign metrics in a clear manner

  • Execute on long-term marketing strategies and set short-term goals that results in a scalable, ever-improving experience for our audiences

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing, strategic marketing or marketing technology experience

  • Experience with building and programming templates and content within sales enablement tools (e.g. Seismic)

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua and Salesforce, and the ability to learn new software solutions

  • Ability to synthesize data into meaningful reports and dashboards for Marketing programs and campaigns.

  • Strong computer literacy.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with mastery of PowerPoint and Excel.  Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus

  • Deadline-driven, with an ability to support multiple projects and pivot quickly when necessary, without sacrificing quality

  • Self-starter with a high sense of personal ownership and the ability to learn quickly and work independently as needed

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle work to tight deadlines while operating with a sense of urgency and personal commitment to quality

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with stakeholders in a large enterprise setting

  • Strong team player with the confidence to ask questions and offer suggestions, setting a high standard for team behavior and performance

  • Ability to articulate concepts and work with business partners to support project deliverables

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and adaptability; with curiosity to design and test new approaches

  • Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills with the ability to review own work.

  • Strong social and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail and aesthetics.

  • Working knowledge of Retirement or Financial Services industry a plus
