Want to be more than just a cog in the machine? As an Electrical & Controls Engineer with RB, you'll have the freedom to make sure the whole operation runs like clockwork. Reporting to the Department Manager, the Electrical & Controls Engineer is responsible for all aspects of electrical, automation and control systems for all equipment in factory, in order to prevent equipment downtime and to increase productivity, safety and quality. This individual will be working with both the Operations Team and Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:
•Provide engineering and operational support for implementation and integration of control systems to ensure adequate and reliable operation •Provides electrical and controls support, to operations as needed; including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance (PM), changeover, modifications and repair of line equipment •Investigate production problems, diagnose faults and partner with Maintenance to plan and organize equipment repairs to reduce downtime and outages. •Provide key technical support in capital projects and new process/product development •Work with team to develop the daily and weekly strategy based on priorities and the utilization of downtime studies and gap analysis for continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:
•BS or BA degree in Engineering required •3+ years of relevant work experience in a team based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred •Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests •Familiarity with process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking •Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/RS Logix 5000/RS/5000 and Factory Talk View platforms •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills •Deadline and detail-oriented
