The Martha's Vineyard Hospital Budget Manager is responsible for coordinating the budgetary processes and the consolidation of the following entities:

1. Martha's Vineyard Hospital


2. Windermere Nursing and Rehabilitation Home

The job consists of managingthe development, analysis, review, reporting, and monitoring operating and capital budgets. Working closely with and supporting managers and senior managers during the budget process and throughout the year on budget related items. Oversee development and performance of monthly, quarterly, annual analysis of trends in salaries and wages, supplies, and other expenses in support of the monthly close process, variance analysis, annual budgets, and forecasts.

Working with the Controller and CFO on other tasks such as cost reporting support, financial analysts, and other duties. Responsible for month end closing directed by the Controller and other duties as they arise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Four to eight years expeirence in Finance/Accounting

Three to five years expeirence in Healthcare Finance

Microsoft Excel - A must

Computer Skills -A must

Communication Skills -A must

Attention to Detail - A must

Hyperion - Perferred

Vision - Perferred

Peoplesoft -Preferred

Plan-It Preferred
