Business Continuity Plan Administrator at PREMIER Bankcard LLC in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Job Description:

PREMIER Bankcard is looking for an outgoing, organized, and friendly individual to join its Business Continuity Administration team.

The Business Continuity Plan Administrator serves in a leadership capacity providing business continuity management services to ensure processes, methodology and oversight are in place for identifying, preventing and preparing for an incident that may disrupt business activities.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences.

Full-time Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Training Schedule:

One on one peer training will be provided. Training will include hands-on learning of business continuity and disaster recovery administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enhances and strengthens business continuity and disaster recovery planning and strategies.


• Plans, conducts and maintains a Business Impact Analysis (BIA).


• Analyzes BIA data and ensures that business units update and or make the appropriate changes to their business continuity and disaster recovery plans as required by the BIA.


• Coordinates and documents Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery Plans


• Participates, plans, and monitors BCP/DR testing.


• Manages and documents BCP/DR incidents, lessons learned, and communications.


• Achieves productivity, quality, and attendance standards


• Professionally conduct tasks in a manner complying with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.

Skills and Qualifications

• Flexibility is essential in this position in a continually evolving environment


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Team and detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills


• Experience in BCP/DR planning


• Financial banking and or credit card operations preferred by not required


• Display dependability with a solid attendance record


• Possess strong PC knowledge with basic PC skills
