Senior Project Management Support at Qualis Corporation in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Job Description:

Qualis Corporation is seeking a full time senior-level Project Manager to perform Engineering Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) functions for the 896 Test Support Squadron (896 TSS). The Project Manager will support the 896 TSS Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) of all T-2 aircraft modifications. This support will interface with all Units with T-2 modification requirements, to include, but not limited to 40 FLTS, OFP-CTF, 780 TS, System Program Offices, and the T-2 modification Configuration Control Board. This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL.

Essential Functions

• Support of project planning briefings, design reviews, requirements reviews, and TIMs and assist in the preparation and presentation of briefings.
• Report issues or problems and recommend specific actions required for resolution.
• Support CCPM relating to aircraft modifications, and manage the Concerto software application. Concerto is used as a means to manage CCPM for all aircraft modifications and track resource constraints.
• Build new projects into Concerto, update the application daily based on inputs from subject matter experts, maintain the pipeline, close-out completed projects, and report constraints and progress to leadership.
• Support analysis and troubleshooting of large and complex project schedules.
• Design, develop, and maintain project templates and Squadron level resources for project planning and execution.
• Collect and analyze project management metrics for the Squadron�s workload.
• Analyze and support network modifications for project span time reduction, buffer recovery, and re-baseline efforts.
• Identify the Squadron�s workload capacity.
• Synchronize all projects in the instrumentation portfolio.
• Interpret complex scheduling data and resource loading information to Squadron leadership.
• Analyze project and task related reports daily to ensure effective assignment and use of key resources.
• Provide buffer and task analysis using software tools to include Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Concerto.
• Support installation and configuration of all systems required to run Concerto and Microsoft Project.
• Test and evaluate all new software releases prior to push out on Squadron systems.
• Provide new software release feedback and trouble tickets to the home office support group.
• Work with Concerto subject matter experts within AFTC to improve the use, configuration and execution of the software tools.
• Lead Pipeline sessions

• Requires Master�s degree in relevant discipline and 10 years of experience. Experience for education may be substituted with customer approval
• Must have knowledge of and utilize Air Force and local acquisition management policies and Air Force and local Financial Management instructions and practices
• Experience with Concerto Preferred
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office products and other software tools to produce high quality briefings, schedules and reports
• Must have ability to work within specific procedures and processes of the Air Force Test Center and DoD regulations and guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required
• Ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission a provide effective solutions
• Exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 896 TSS as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%
• US Citizenship required.

• Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
