FT Nurse Supervisor, RN (Kendal) at Kendal-Crosslands Communities in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Kendal~Crosslands Communities, a Life Plan Community located in Kennett Square, PA has a FT opportunity for a Nurse Manager, RN at our Kendal at Longwood location.  The hours for this position is below:

-3pm - 11pm.

This position requires working every other weekend and holiday

Essential Function:  Provides nursing leadership by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care as outlined in the residents plan of care.  Supports goals and activities of the Nurse Manager for the unit by promoting collaboration/teamwork on his/her shifts.  Serves as a resource for community residents on his/her shift.

Qualifications & Experience:  Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Registered Professional Nurse.  B.S.N. preferred.  A minimum of one year of experience as a Nursing Supervisor where management skill competence has been demonstrated.  At least 2-3 years of long-term experience required. Demonstrates ability to coordinate, supervise other RNs, LPNs, NAs, and secretarial staff, and maintain an even temperament in demanding situations, and display leadership, especially during emergency situations.  Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills.
