The Treasure Valley YMCA is currently a $23 million operation serving more than 40,000 members with four facility branches, a 400+ acre resident camp, 22 childcare locations, and youth programs offered at over 100 locations throughout the community. Our Human Resources Department currently serves over 700 employees. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Team. This position will support the HR team in a variety of capacities including onboarding, employee file maintenance, recruiting, benefits administration, and training and certification tracking.Starting Wage Range:$12.32 - $15.40Key Qualifications:Experience in HR or a related bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required. We are seeking someone who is adaptable and able to build relationships with staff at all levels. Must have strong customer service skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the aptitude to learn additional software programs. Must have high level of tact and discretion, and be able to maintain confidentiality. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Schedule Requirements:This is a full-time position. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM with some flexibility.
