Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources hasa PRN opportunity for a civilian Pediatrician at the Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, in Oak Harbor Washington. This contract position offers:

Temp (PRN)
• Weekend Inpatient Rounds


• On- Call (1 week of on-call services every 4 weeks)


• Call Back (on-call personnel were called back 2 times within the week while providing on-call services. )


• Malpractice Insurance Coverage

Job Requirements:

The Pediatrician will have the following requirements:

• Board Certified Pediatrics

• Completion of a Pediatric Residency

• Active/Unrestricted license (Any state)

• DEA

• BLS, PALS, NRP certification

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years as a Pediatrician

• Possess and maintain a current Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (S.T.A.B.L.E.) certification

• Attend high risk deliveries and lead the NRP team in our Level 1 nursery, care for well newborns and stabilize and care for sick infants until transport arrives.

• Perform circumcisions
