In this role you will:

• Support development of various audio related consumer electronics products




• Evaluate, implement, and improve upon audio algorithms




• Create tools for audio research and development




• Deliver real-time prototypes to demonstrate new algorithms and technologies




• Lead out in coordinating the work of our Acoustics and Firmware engineers

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

• Experience developing and delivering audio processing algorithms from concept to finished product




• Digital Filter Design




• Nonlinear Audio Processing




• CODEC and other Sound Quality Evaluation




• MATLAB, C, C++




• Optimization for low-power target platforms

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

• Real-time implementation with Max MSP




• Knowledge of acoustical systems (transducers, enclosures, room acoustics)




• Familiarity with machine learning

Education & Experience:

• Candidates for this position will usually have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5+ years of related industry experience.. If you've taken a different path to meet the qualifications, we look forward to hearing your story.
