Adecco is currently Assisting a Local Client in their Search to Fill a Extruder Operator Role in the Thomasville, NC paying $16-$23 per hour depending on Experience. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Length: Temp to Hire
Pay: $16-$23

Shift/Hours: Night Shift-8pm-8am (12hr Shift) -Rotating Schedule

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

o Sets-up machine to specifications outlined on the order
o Sets-up machine to standard set-up time & procedure
o Operates machine to standard production target and waste target
o Trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard
o Assists maintenance with machine repairs and preventive maintenance
o Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.
o Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member
o Ensures work area is kept clean according to facility/corporate standards
o Ensures all environmental standards and requirements are met
o Daily attendance and adherence to the attendance policy is a requirement
o Performs inspections per Quality Procedure
o Cleans machine and area according to schedule
o Ensures assigned machine Preventive Maintenance (PM) is performed according to the schedule
o Completes all required tracking forms (Job Plan, Shift Run Report, Quality Sheet, and checklists)
o Ensures materials are available for next order & next shift
o Sets the example of safe operation by following established safety guidelines; Follows established safety guidelines; holds self and others accountable
o Initiates and supports improvement initiatives
o Meets production targets (% performance to production plan)
o Meets quality targets (number of complaints)
o Meets waste targets (waste %)
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

High School Diploma

Forklift Operation

Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic

2+ years in general warehouse operation
