The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for a Risk Management Analyst!

As s Risk Management Analyst, you will be responsible for collections, analysis and reporting of open source intelligence materials to alert of events and incidents that are impacting or could impact operations. You will be a part of a rotation to provide 24/7 staffing Global Security Operations Center. You will work with affinity risk management consultants to assist field teams with risk assessments.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor emergency communications by answering, documenting, responding, and dispatching additional help
Monitor GSOC dashboards approximately 40 hours/week and respond to any alerts
Maintain situational awareness for all locations in an assigned geographical area and alert Risk Team appropriately when there is a critical incident in those regions.
Assist in monitoring and notification of sudden onset disasters
Monitor issues relating to Travel Risk Management
Conduct perpetual collection of open-source information utilizing multiple systems and sources in order to detect potential threats against organizational assets and resources
Produce and disseminate cyclical intelligence products derived from open-source and vendor provided collection efforts as part of a larger escalation process
Provide timely intelligence and analysis of incidents in proximity to personnel and volunteers
Work with RMCs to facilitate risk assessments for field teams
Work closely with the Risk Team in assisting with the mitigation processes of threats impacting organizational assets & resources
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, History, Political Science, Social Sciences, or other relevant field
At least 3-5 years of applicable experience in risk management
Advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce assessments, publications, and reports
Working knowledge of geopolitical patterns
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, comfortable with high-tech work environment, and constant learning of new tools and innovation
Proficient in open-source research
Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on technical report writing
