The Senior Instructional Designer consults on and designs learning programs, as part of the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team, that will advance the leadership capabilities of JetBlue Crewmembers. These solutions will include but are not limited to eLearnings, video solutions, blended learning, and instructor-led programs. Additionally, the Senior Instructional Designer partners closely with stakeholders using consulting skills to perform needs analysis, select the right delivery option(s), design the solution, and support corporate-wide training initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Works independently to design, develop, and support educational programs in multiple delivery platforms as assigned, including but not limited to rapid-development, video, eLearning, and classroom training.
Conduct learning assessments to determine the most effective learning activities and course designs that align with organizational goals, strategies, and competencies.
Manage instructional design projects and maintains timelines, progress updates, project constraints and conflicts and communicates information to stakeholders.
Provides consultation on learning design and instructional technology to better support peer deliverables.
Partners with peers to effectively contribute to all phases of training development including content development, release, support, evaluation, and the revision cycle.
Keeps abreast of new and developing trends in instructional technologies and adult learning, applies them to learning initiatives, and creates opportunities to develop others (peers, SMEs, etc.) in these areas.
Designs creative multimedia solutions that exemplify good practices in instructional design.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Four (4) years experience with adult learning, instructional design, curriculum development or performance improvement
Ability to create polished and professional looking web-based instructional content
Demonstrated ability to lead learning projects through all phases of ADDIE
Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 10%)
Must be able to manage simultaneous projects and prioritize in a fast paced multi-team environment
Ability to work to deadlines with quick turnaround
Able to provide a relevant work sample
Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Instructional Design or related discipline
Expert level proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence stakeholders to the best solution for their desired learning outcomes

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
