Job Description

We are currently looking for a Shipping Worker Trainee to join our team in Dayton, NJ. This position is a day shift role with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-11:50pm.



You Will Spend Your Time...



* Preparing shipments using delivery notes

* Following shipping instructions and ensuring labeling and piece counts are accurate

* Supporting the Shipping Team Lead with any requests or tasks

* Moving materials between the Shipping department and the warehouse/flammable storage/cooler/freezer locations utilizing fork trucks and RF units

* Processing FedEx and UPS shipments using their systems

* Loading freight onto trailers and containers

* Working in the Receiving Department if needed

Job Requirements

Required Skills

* Attention to detail

* Ability to work in fast paced environment

* Ability to lift up to 50lbs

* Basic math, reading and computer skills related to logistics

* Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Required Experience

* High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required

* Previous experience in a Manufacturing or Warehouse environment preferred

* Forklift experience preferred
