The Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Account Executive is primarily responsible for selling and maintaining a customer base for all Cognizant solutions related to Acute and Provider based Healthcare markets. The candidate will demonstrate a strong network of relationships with Healthcare Revenue Cycle Executives throughout the Acute/Provider market. The primary focus is to sell to the current client and new logo clients, the Cognizant Revenue Cycle Solutions which support all aspects of Revenue Cycle outsourcing. The RCM Sales Account Executive will also be responsible for working with peers from all Business Units of Cognizant to sell Cognizant solutions to the healthcare market. The qualified candidate must reside within the north central or north eastern United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participation in Full lifecycle sales responsibilities – lead generation, lead qualification, scoping, proposing and closing
Develop a sustainable sales pipeline to meet and exceed forecasted bookings targets
Deliver persuasive sales presentations to senior-level decision-makers
Demonstrate a high level of strategic acumen and comfort conducting value-added interactions with C-level decision-makers in healthcare organizations
Assist the Sales Executives to establish relationships with clients and contacts
Prospect to C level contacts
Maintain detailed contact records in the Salesforce.com database including all calls, visits, emails, schedules and planned activities
Collaborate with management team and Sales Executives to develop detailed strategic account plans including deliverables to support proposed solutions to meet clients' needs.
Identifies, initiates, and pursues engagements which lead to the development of new products/service sales
Develops new business at strategic clients and add-on business at existing client sites
Promotes and improves visibility and reputation of Healthcare Solutions & Cognizant
Travels as required to call on regular and prospective clients.
Arranges, prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients
Responsible for developing quotes prices, terms with clients and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
Works with management team to ensure proper resource availability and project feasibility
Attends trade shows
Administrative tasks to include but not limited to: contract administration, scheduling, updating and maintaining Salesforce.com, newsletter development, and sales reporting
Works closely with Service Line Leaders to plan and manage resource assignments for projects
Qualifications:
12+ years’ of experience in healthcare revenue cycle sales
5+ years selling professional and business services to Acute/Provider markets with knowledge of extended business office functions as well as Health System Revenue Cycle.
Self-motivated, competitive, and has experience working in a team environment
The ability to maximize cross-selling opportunities within client relationships
The ability to articulate the business value of professional services solutions to all levels of an organization
Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand clients’ business requirements to qualify and propose solution

Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Recognized authority in the healthcare Revenue Cycle industry
Industry related professional affiliations preferred
Demonstrated ability to consistently contribute to sell against and beat sales quota
Education:
Bachelors Degree or 10+ years’ of equivalent experience in healthcare revenue cycle sales
Masters Preferred
