FT Resident Assistant (CNA) at Kendal-Crosslands Communities in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

  Kendal~Crosslands Communities, a Life Plan Community located in Kennett Square, PA has a FT opportunity for a Resident Assistant at our Kendal at Longwood location.  The hours for this position is below: 

-8am - 4:30pm.  Actual work hours vary according to Residents needs. 

This position requires working occasional weekends and holidays. 

Essential Function:  Provides Resident with quality care by providing physical, psycho-social and social support within the guidelines of established practice for the Nursing Assistant and/or PA State Board of Nursing.  This position may also work in the skilled nursing and personal care health centers as scheduling permits.

Qualifications & Experience:  The minimum educational requirement includes successful completion of an approved nursing assistant program and certification exam.  Maintains State required annual education hours.  At least one year experience in a home care or long term care setting.  Must possess current, valid PA driver’s license in good standing and must be insurable by Kendal~Crosslands Communities insurance.  Must have access to reliable personal vehicle to travel from home to home.
