What You Will Do

• Develop and communicate a vision and strategy for People Analytics, prioritizing our focus areas in support of broader people and business objectives


• Elevate our existing people metrics to deliver predictive insights across the employee lifecycle


• Cultivate and promote data driven decision making across the People team and within the business


• Work closely with leaders across the company to understand and conceptualize their specific business and organizational situation to support them with insights and recommendations in the people space


• Design and lead our people analytics tools strategy, leveraging a mix of custom and 3rd party tools like Tableau to deliver self service dashboards


• Partner with Rec Ops to build dashboards to inform the strategic planning across the Cloudflare Recruiting function, including roadmaps, KPIs and key initiatives in support of long term goals


• Develop Recruiting capacity planning dashboards aligned to the annual planning process to inform resourcing and headcount planning for the Recruiting function


• Build dashboards to inform a scaled resource model inclusive of a sizable contingent worker supplier strategy and in support of teams with seasonal workloads


• Build a small team of great people, motivated by surfacing insights that help us solve people challenges and accomplish people related goals

Who You Are

• 10+ years hands-on analytics experience with 3+ years of leading the function required


• Prior experience building a high performing and diverse People Analytics foundation and function preferred


• Deep expertise in people metrics / analytics & leveraging data to influence informed and strategic decisions


• Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced statistics background


• Experienced with leading analytical projects with both structured and unstructured data end-to-end, from problem statement/hypothesis formulation to presentation for insights, to "instrumentation"/evaluation of resulting decisions/initiatives


• Experienced in building, evolving and applying complex models for planning, prediction and decision support


• Comprehensive understanding of databases; hands-on experience with tools and workflows across the analytics technology stack, e.g. APIs/Web Services, ETLs/DAGs, data warehouses, querying engines, visualizations/end-user products (experience with Tableau and GCP a plus)


• Able to communicate and influence stakeholders across the company at all levels including senior leadership
