This position is responsible for assisting the Materials Manager in having materials available in a cost efficient, quality assured, and timely manner for production. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Ordering & Releasing Supplies
Assist in determination of needs
Placing Orders
Follow-Up with Vendors
Maintaining Supply levels and Location Integrity
Inventory Levels
Placards for Proper Marking of Inventory
Assist in Min/Max inventories on specified materials
Maintain Inventory Records
Computer & Book records of production and receipts
Organize and Report Information for Co-Pack Production
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma
1 year Purchasing, Scheduling, or Logistics in a food/packaging business
Computer Proficient - MS Office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Good Math Skills
Good communication skills - written & verbal
