The Opportunity

This opportunity as a Security System Technician in the Vernon Parish, Louisiana area is perfect for an experienced technician! This individual will serve as a field representative to install, test, repair, and maintain low voltage security systems at the Fort Polk Army Depot.

The Responsibilities


  • Install, repair, test and maintain security projects

  • Serve as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training

  • Collaborate with in-house EFS teams to improve installations

  • Ensure safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations

  • Handle service order and project administration

The Necessities


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Electronic security or electrical background

  • Great customer service skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • A positive attitude

  • Possess a Secret Clearance

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)

  • Effective when working solo and as part of a team

  • Valid driver's license

Great to Have


  • Relevant factory certifications and knowledge are always a plus. Great examples include:

  • Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases
