POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Yourobjectivein the role of Inventory Analyst for the Parts & Services Division is to coordinate and support activities to optimize and reduce our global inventory to reach the divisional target. You will support the global team with analysis, identifying and implementing actions, follow-up on progress and reporting results.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify inventory reduction/improvement opportunities and support a successful implementation for global initiatives


• Provide analysis to support inventory actions


• Support activities to redistribute inventory as required


• Review local warehouses for proactive redistribution to the global or regional distribution centers


• Support the regional project teams in bi-weekly excess and obsolete inventory reduction meetings with DCs and CCs (in collaboration with the Regional Inventory Optimization Experts)


• Support with follow up on quality and progress of local inventory reduction plans


• Support implementation of actions to solve process and system issues that are causing excess and obsolete inventory


• Support the month-end inventory analysis and follow up on anomalies


• Provide weekly and monthly report updates as required by team management


• Analyze and implement Replenishment Policy Approvals (RPA) for the global and regional distribution centers in regions where assigned


• Review flagged demand in warehouses where assigned


• Analyze and implement Stocking Requests based on team approvals in regions where requested


• Support with documentation of processes and process improvements as requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• University degree in Economics/Business Administration, Supply chain/Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required.


• Good knowledge of inventory management


• Experience from working with inventory management systems and/or ERP systems like M3, Blue Yonder/JDA and GIM.


• Background in spare parts management at Epiroc or equivalent industries


• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.


• 2 - 4 Years of experience preferred.
