Group InternalAudit and Assurance (GIAA) is currently seeking a driven individual with a can-do attitude.

Within this role you will:


  • Be an active participant of the preparation of GIAA's yearly plan (internal audits, balance sheet reviews and other projects). You will also drive some of the planning activities as assigned

  • Manage, lead and follow-up internal audits according to the yearly plan (scheduling, staffing, onsite auditing, reporting, follow-up of action plan, closing)

  • Provide internal audit team member trainings as necessary (classroom and Webex)

  • Continue to review the current tools and implement new ones in order to achieve continuous improvement in the function

  • Manage and follow-up balance sheet reviews according to the yearly plan (scheduling, staffing, reporting, follow-up of action plan, closing)

  • Support other internal control monitoring activities, such as: yearly Control Self-Assessment

  • Conduct corporate investigations related to fraud or corruption

  • Foster Key Stakeholder relationships

  • Once travel restrictions are lifted, travel approximately one week per month (10-12 weeks per year)

Experience and Knowledge Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, or equivelent experience

  • Master Degree is a plus

  • Certified Internal Auditor is a plus

  • At least 3 years of working experience in The Group or in the field of expertise preferred

  • Strong knowledge of "The Epiroc Way" and Epiroc processes or, working experience with Internal Control Framework in a large Group

  • Active participant of Group internal audits (as team member), and/or previous external audit experience outside of The Group are a plus

  • High level of both verbal and written English. Additional languages are a plus

  • Great presentation skills in front of different forums (Entity, Division and Group Management)

  • Excellent risk analysis skills to be able to understand and identify risks and how different internal controls work in terms of remediating these risks

  • Good understanding of how financial results are derived and how different actions/parameters affect the results
