An award-winning hospital in vibrant, gorgeous Northwest Washington seeks an experienced Cath Lab Staff Nurse to join their highly trained team in the Cath/IR Lab. This is an exciting career opportunity for a Cardiac Catheterization RN to join an outstanding Cardiac Care team.

The talented cardiologists and nurses at this nationally ranked medical center are well-respected for providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate for Catheterization Lab RN has experience with operating Percutaneous Coronary Intervention related technologies.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Services, the Cardiac Cath Lab RN will coordinate nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath/Interventional Radiology Lab. The Cardiovascular Services Staff Nurse will operate physiological monitoring equipment, PACS, data analysis system, and related technology.

The Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse will perform assessments, plan and deliver direct patient care, and orient patients and their families during trying times. Personality and communication skills are key, as the Heart and Vascular Staff RN will provide emotional comfort and support to patients and family members as appropriate.
