Position Summary and About You:

Responsible for defining, managing, and communicating features and requirements based on the quarterly and annual roadmap as defined by the Products team as a whole.  The ideal candidate should bring a deep understanding of consumer facing mobile FinTech applications including payments and digital wallets.  This position will lead strategy and the innovation roadmap. They should be able to effectively communicate business needs into technical requirements.   

Primary Accountabilities:

Technical (50%)


  • Requirements gathering and documentation for product backlogs

  • UX/UI design mockups

  • Functional QA testing of platform products

  • Collaborate with Product Pod on “Go To Market” Tasks 

  • Participate in Agile Ceremonies

Strategic (50%)


  • Collaboration with stakeholders to coordinate the release of new features/products to clients.

  • Research emerging market trends

  • Working with stakeholders on product features to help refine completed backlog items and plan for future roadmap items.

  • Responsible for Annual and Quarterly Roadmap planning communication

  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products

  • Track market trends and competitive analysis

  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule

Primary Accountabilities:



  • Product strategy: Drives product vision and strategy that will delight our customers and help us stand out in the marketplace. Design and lead a multi-year roadmap, balancing short and long-term goals and investments to scale globally and across multiple acquisition channels.


  • Customer Focused: Gathers insights from customers, data research and industry trends and convert them into compelling product ideas


  • Analytics & Experimentation: Innovative, analytical and structured with the ability to deliver and draw interpretations through A/B tests


  • Problem Solver: Analytical, structured, with the ability to prioritize & deliver from our large suite of products and feature sets


  • Hands-on Leader: Hands-on leader who oversees and maintains a deep, detailed and ruthlessly prioritized product backlog (PBL) for a web scrum team, driving towards a well-defined vision and specific goals/metrics


  • Team Player: Builds strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and leaders within our group to ensure alignment and buy-in on the requirements and prioritization of product ideas


  • Product Scale: Strong history of scaling products and building products with high engagement

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • MBA Preferred

  • Experience in Mobile and web Technology required

  • 5-7 years of related work experience with focus on Native Apps on iOS and Android

  • Launched 2-3 mobile apps and financial apps is a plus

  • Experience managing products from inception to market

  • Proficient in Google Suite

  • Experience in Agile product lifecycle and scrum - including discovery, prioritization, defining requirements, writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and regular planning/grooming with engineering team

  • Expert with Agile framework

  • Expert with UI Design Tools (sketch, balsamiq, AI)

  • Expert with Agile Software (atlassian jira,VS )

  • Expert with HTML,CSS,JS, SQL

  • Competent in Google Analytics

  • Payment/Banking industry and/or State/Federal Government experience is a plus
