Edelman is looking for a driven and talented communications professional with a passion for building corporate and executive thought leadership to join our team as a Senior Account Executive, working in our Corporate Reputation and Technology sectors.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in earned media, social media, content and message development, and keep a close pulse on the trends shaping corporate reputation and executive communications. We'll count on you to lead priority programs and campaigns, build client relationships and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

You will join our global, award-winning Adobe team, working closely with the Adobe Executive Communications and Adobe Innovation businesses.

Adobe Executive Communications supports senior executives with multi-channel content strategies spanning earned, social, employee and owned. This high-profile workstream is charged with developing compelling narratives and content that build thought leadership for both executives and the company at large.

Adobe Innovation supports initiatives aligned with Adobe's CTO that position the company as an innovator and industry thought leader, including emerging technologies from Adobe Labs and new tools powered by Adobe Sensei, the company's proprietary AI architecture. This workstream includes CTO and CIO executive positioning and communication, both earned and digital.

This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented corporate storytellers, technology communications professionals, creatives and research specialists across Edelman's global network.


Our ideal SAE candidate will have a solid grasp of storytelling, hands-on experience in earned media, social content development and moderation, message development, and excellent writing skills. You will develop a deep understanding for key client information, including business strategy, industry trends, products, executive priorities and competitors

Responsibilities include:

    • Researching and analyzing the media landscape, identifying interesting story angles, developing compelling pitches and managing media opportunities

    • Recommending timely social content and drafting copy aligned with executive narratives, business priorities and trending topics

    • Day-to-day client service including proactively managing client needs and deliverables, including tracking deadlines, moving deliverables forward, anticipating next steps, and identifying opportunities for account growth

    • Attending meetings, communicating via email, sharing counsel and managing logistics such as agendas

    • Writing, editing and proofreading materials including bylines, long-form LinkedIn posts and email correspondence

You should have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3-5 years of relevant experience in earned media or communications experience

    • An understanding of the role of earned and social to drive results for clients. Experience in agency considered an advantage

    • An understanding of social media best practices and tools

    • Media relations experience with demonstrated relationships and results

    • Excellent writing skills across various formats and media

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box when it comes to storytelling and content development

    • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with managers and peers

    • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required
