Area Coordinator- Press Dept at A.O. Smith in Johnson City, Tennessee

Job Description:

Primary Function

Responsible for the efficient operation of Manufacturing Department, the direction of the plant work force and the meeting of daily production schedules. Coordinates activities of Level II workers and Employees. Verifies correct manufacturing processes are adhered to. Works with other operators, engineers and quality personnel to identify and resolve potential customer issues.

• Demonstrated Leadership skills, understand basic principles of human resources and manufacturing process, ability to make decisions and the willingness to follow policies and procedures.


• Previous experience with water heater manufacturing industry is preferred.


• Valid driver's license


• Excellent communication skills via written and oral

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

Minimum of 1 year related work experience
