LMI is seeking a skilled Directed Energy Senior Engineer/Scientist to support a client in the Washington, D.C. area.     Maintain Directed Energy modernization tech roadmaps to include all DoD activities and applicable program elements
  • Coordinate Directed Energy roadmaps with key stakeholders

  • Refine and update Directed Energy S&T roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments

  • Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership, outside agencies, Congress, Industry, Academia, Professional Societies and others as directed

  • Track the department-wide budgets for Directed Energy efforts

  • Assist, prepare and conduct meetings

  • Support oversight of the Joint Directed Energy Transition Office, to include administrative support to the Joint Directed Energy Technology Coordination Council



  • Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline


  • Ph.D.: Minimum of 6 years' experience in Directed Energy

  • Master's Degree: Minimum 10 years' experience in Directed Energy

TS clearance with SCI eligibility required.
