We are currently seeking a [[SAP ABAP Developer]] to join our team in [[Lexington]], [[MA]], [[US]].
The NTT DATA SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for supporting the design and development of business applications solutions. These solutions will be in support of approved break-fix, and critical enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- SAP experience and knowledge in developing and maintaining ABAP programs using object-oriented programming techniques, SAP-Script, Smart-forms, user exits, BAPI's, BADI's, and Data Dictionary objects
- Experience in ABAP, backend data, and front-end Fiori development (HTM LS/CSS/JavaScript)
- Experience with WebDynpro, CDS, ABAP Push Channels, and Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF)
- Experience with SOAP and REST based services, and API design
- Proactive and able to catch issues before failures
- Possess a strong work ethic; takes pride in producing a quality product
- Work with production support and project consultants in an onshore / offshore model
- Document programs according to MITLL documentation standards
- Assist MITLL staff when needed with troubleshooting SAP programs/issues
- Ability to be the liaison between technology and the business
- Ability to work independently, with limited direction, to achieve expected results
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable work experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience supporting IT projects
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing in SAP ECC
- US Citizen with the ability to pass a Commercial Background Investigation
- Interim Secret Clearance required
