Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Analyzes complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

• Ability to conceptualize / design / build high quality business analyses and models using large connected data sets


• Proactively research new ways of modeling data to unlock actionable insights and improve processes


• Initiate and maintain coverage of relevant business metrics on a regular basis to help identify and analyze critical issues, risks and opportunities


• Provide analytical decision-making support and guidance for key projects


• Partner with business teams for systems and business process improvements


• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines


• Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, SAP and/or other business intelligence tools


• Perform various ad hoc analysis including scenario planning

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business related field with four years of experience. Master's Degree preferred.


• Equivalent combination of experience and education


• Semiconductor Experience strongly preferred
