About this Position

Title: Professional Services Performance Consultant

Initial Location: Maryland/Virgina/DC region
Clearance Level: US Citizen
Initial Travel Requirement: 20%

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of customer-facing technical consultants, with day-to-day responsibility for recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring, and project assignment
• Provide technical and business leadership for the Professional Services organization


• Support field sales with services scoping and other pre-sales efforts


• Manage department financials responsibly, including efficient use of contractor resources and supervision of administrative processes


• Establish processes, strategic direction and performance standards. Manage non-performers to ensure the highest performance within the organization.


• Focus on customer satisfaction; handle customer escalations as needed.


• Foster teamwork, build and lead effective teams committed to organizational goals; encourage collaboration to address relevant business and customer goals.


• Work with peers in order to leverage ideas, implement them, and share triumphs and failures as learning tools.


• Make timely and responsible decisions with organizational and corporate goals in mind.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years related experience.


• Extensive IT experience; Strong knowledge in Application Architectures & Performance Management and/or Network Infrastructure & Performance.


• Understand and be conversant about company, its solutions, and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.


• Solid knowledge and experience with consulting and customer success practices.


• Thorough understanding of organizational structures, management practices, staff development and retention.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline is preferred.
