Summary

The Digital Marketing Designer produces the design deliverables for the Corporate Marketing team at NEC Corporation of America. The position is responsible for delivering effective, visual, on-brand, and digital-strategy creative for corporate websites, landing pages, product graphics, email promotional creative, email templates, social media graphics, and banner ads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 20% - Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. While some projects may require managing external resources (video, agencies etc.), the role is expected to be hands-on.


• 20% - Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective designs.


• 20% - Work with product marketing/sales teams and internal and external developers to ensure aesthetics also are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards. Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision.


• 15% - Manage and produce digital design work including digital print collateral.  Translate wireframes into simple, easy-to-use User Interfaces. Provide design support to other business units to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics.


• 15% - Work with the Director of Digital Marketing and others to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.


• 10% - Ensure consistency of brand and creativity across digital customer touchpoints.

Prerequisites

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications, or related field.


• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house Web team for a solution-driven business. 


• Experience in web marketing/web design with a strong knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, web design, and development principles


• Experience in Marketing Automation (HubSpot or similar platforms)


• Experience designing websites or advertising


• Certifications, Licenses, etc: None required.

• Computer and/or Technical Skills: Illustrator/Photoshop; CSS, HTML, HTML5 and professional working use of the Adobe Creative Suite
