Position Description:
AMETEK/Sealtron is seeking a highly strategic Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record of success in the military, defense, aerospace, and medical markets. This individual will join a global, multi-site business unit. The sales organization consists of regional sales managers and outside representatives. This position will report to the Business Unit Director of Regional Sales & Strategic Accounts. Candidates for this position must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions:
• Contribute to a dynamic, highly creative, and competitive sales organization by aggressively pursuing new customers and enhancing relationships with the existing customer base.
• Participate in the development of bids and proposals that win business.
• Identify new products and adjacent market opportunities.
• Identify, design, and implement strategies to win new business and execute the tactics working with internal and external peers.
• Meeting with existing and potential key customers to build relationships and evaluate or promote business opportunities based on the AMETEK “Customer First” philosophy.
• Work with customers and engineering to develop the Product Road map for new products and adjacent market opportunities.
• Ensure that Sales Channel supports new product development goals of engineering & the growth objectives of the business.
• Prepare definitive territory and business segment plans based on market research and competitive analysis to identify potential markets and new products.
• Provide market feedback to repair facilities on new product development, market pricing, and general market trends.
• Support financial reporting including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirements.
• Maintain relations with outside reps and inter-company AMETEK sales team.
• Ensure coordinated, responsive, and efficient service and problem resolution.
• Participate in sales presentations and negotiations as appropriate to ensure maximum impact.
• Using Industry trade shows, conferences, and social media, position AMETEK as a tier I provider of nose to tail sales solutions.
• Actively pursue new business and new customers.
• Participation in key industry Sales and Marketing events.
• Tech savvy and detailed oriented.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree / MBA Preferred
• 5-7 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing. Ideally, in military, defense, aerospace, and medical markets.
