Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Traffic Safety Specialist in Oak Ridge, TN.

This position will serve the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

Candidate will work in the Safety and Industrial Hygiene programs group in the areas of traffic safety, motor vehicle incidents, personal protective equipment and RCAMS. Knowledge of these programs and the Y-12 site would be preferred.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Reviewing traffic plans
• Conducting traffic and parking lot observations
• Answering employee questions about PPE
• Evaluating PPE
• Entering RCAMS into the database
• Writing safety bulletins.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Additional years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• An advanced knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Previous federal experience is highly preferred.
• Active or recently active cleared candidates are preferred.
