Responsible for a wide variety of functions primarily in support of the Facilities and Materials group, including timekeeping, requisitioning, recordkeeping, and coordinating. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills, good decision quality, some technical knowledge, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Handle record keeping and reporting for a variety of areas including Fuel Purchases, electrical megging, equipment grounds, hand tools, extension cords, hoist-lifting devices, locks and keys - maintaining compliance with governmental and agency regulations in all areas.

  • Assist with processing a high-volume of requisitions and credit card purchases for all departments iac company policies; make service entries for purchased goods (including Kansas), make fuel purchases. Requires ability to talk knowledgably with vendors about mechanical, electrical, pipe, and automotive parts.

  • Handle daily timekeeping activities for guard department per CBA rules and assist / back-up payroll department for payroll runs.

  • Maintain calibration records through gage pak for electrical, electronic and temperature control equipment.

  • Assist with problem resolution in a variety of areas for maintenance group - researching, evaluating, making calls, and determining appropriate resolution / assist with entering and processing work orders.

  • Coordinate pre-bid conferences (contacting vendors, providing scope of work, coordinating on-site meetings) for outside contractors for upcoming work.

  • Associates degree preferred.

  • 5 years administrative experience.

  • Knowledge of maintenance and manufacturing.
