OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that accurate quantities of inventory are pulled correctly by location. This position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe non-conveyable area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB: (other duties may be assigned)

1.Remove stock from inventory.

KEY MEASURES:

*Pull inventory for all orders

*Transport items to closeout area

*Maintain accident free operations of forklifts and an accident free work area.

OTHER DUTIES OF THE JOB:

1.Perform general cleaning of work area.

2.Help with daily reload.

3.Perform other duties as assigned or required.

SUPERVISION GIVEN TO THE FOLLOWING DEPARTMENTS:

This position typically does not require the supervision of staff.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED FROM:

Supervision is typically received from the Distribution Manager.

Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, provide close attention to detail, and ability to work closely with others.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS TYPICAL OF THIS POSITION:

Constantly Incurred (More than 75% of time on job)

Ability to stand, Ability to lift: Light (Max 25 lbs.), Ability to use both hands, Ability to use both legs, Use of depth perception.

Frequently Incurred (Between 25% - 75% of time on job)

Ability to communicate orally, Ability to hear conversation.

Occasionally Incurred (Less than 25% of time on job)

Ability to lift: Hvy/Mod (Max 70 lbs.), Ability to carry (est. weight 50 lbs.), Ability to pull (est. weight 500 lbs.), Ability to kneel, Ability to pull hand over hand, Repetitive twisting or pressure involving wrists or hands, Ability to repeatedly bend, Ability to operate truck/motor vehicle, Ability for rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously.

WORKING CONDITIONS TYPICAL OF THIS POSITION:

Constantly Incurred (More than 75% of time on job)

Work with machinery with moving parts.

Work alone.

Occasionally Incurred (Less than 25% of time on job)

Work outside and inside, Work in heat between 90 - 100 degrees, Work in excessive or frequent temperature changes, Exposure to intermittent noise above 85DB, Exposure to vibration, Exposure to gases (propane), Exposure to grease/oils (preservatives/motor oil), Work with moving vehicles, Work weekly average of 40 hours.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TYPICAL OF THIS POSITION:

Occasionally Incurred (Less than 25% of time on job)

Use of gloves (cotton, latex, anti-abrasion).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Experience/Training

Previous experience as a non-conveyable stacker preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

Valid Drivers License
