Direct, plan, and manage Cross Country Healthcare Inc's Information Systems to assure the development and implementation of effective communication through office systems and operations. Determine the company's long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish the organization's business objectives.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Responsible for the promotion of corporate growth and development by coordinating the company's strategic plan with successful systems applications; create new strategic options
* Direct the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software
* Identification and presentation of hardware and software to ensure computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of corporate growth and changing objectives
* Liaison for executive and Management functional departments on all Information System matters such as: answering questions, evaluating needs, monitoring services, and advising on problems
* Encourage Information Technology education and understanding to ensure smooth conversions from existing computer systems to new and improved systems
* Knowledge of industry developments in the area of systems and hardware to assure that those new developments are incorporated in new systems of Cross Country
* Maintain strong relationships with outside representatives providing hardware, software, and support services
* Responsible for Information Systems budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure
* Analyze and plan for future expansion or alteration of Information Systems team to ensure the most cost-effective solution.
* Build, manage, and develop divisions leadership team
* Develop or approve compensation and commission plans for IS team
* Provide leadership for employee relations issues to facilitate and foster improved communication
* Monitor teams performance providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling in accordance with the company's management principles, policies, and philosophies
* Direct responsibility for all personnel and operation at CCH India (both the IT and Business Process groups)
* All other duties as assigned.





QUALIFICATIONS:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Information Systems Director

* Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology and extensive knowledge of hardware and software applications

* Strong analytical, interpersonal, and reasoning ability

* Considerable management skills are required to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities

* Ability to recognize and support the organizations business philosophies, priorities, and preferences

* Responsible for developing and implementing strategically driven action plans. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both the strategic and functional level.

* Results oriented with the ability to balance other demanding business priorities

* Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth while managing most of the team offsite.

* Team oriented management style supporting a service driven, fast paced, growth environment.

* At least 5 years' experience and a record, which indicates successful planning and implementation of technology initiatives.

* Experience with web-based development tools.

* Appropriate undergraduate degree or certificate required. Master's degree preferred.

* A broad knowledge of computing, networks, operating systems, internet/intranet technologies, distance education & instructional technologies, administrative systems, wireless technologies, and trends in emerging technologies.

* Experience in planning, managing budgets, supervising technical staff, understanding contemporary and emerging technologies and demonstrated success in implementing large-scale projects involving a variety of technologies.
