Situation in organization:Reports to Sr. Human Resources Manager
Job dimension:The position carries out responsibilities for the administration of HR processes to include: recruitment and onboarding, wage and salary administration, employee benefits administration, training and development, employee engagement, performance management, and the coordination of company-sponsored employee activities. The primary objective of this function is to develop and maintain effective employee relations.
Key Activities and responsibilities:
Essential HR Function 50%
Responsible for performing HR-related day-to-day duties; serves as first point of contact for the HR department.
Processes bi-weekly payroll and maintains Kronos data
Act as liaison for hourly and salaried payroll issues
Maintains and verifies HR data in SAP HRMS, completes all E-forms, generates various reports
Maintains company organization charts, employee roster, and the employee SendNow roster.
Maintains HR records including personnel files.
Completes Termination checklist and ensure all terminated employee is sent an exit letter.
Performs a variety of project management services to support the HR function.
Participates in HR audit related activities.
Administers plant random program
Provides Plant administration of Workers Comp, Leave/FMLA claims and coordinates return to work process.
Recruitment & Onboarding 20%
Leads the recruitment process which includes interviewing and testing.
Manages onboarding process, coordinates offer letters, background checks, pre hire testing, orientation schedules
Attends recruiting events and builds relationship with local technical schools.
Develop and identify new and innovative recruiting techniques.
Training 20%
Organizes training plans with managers
Coordinates 45, 90, 180 meetings
Ensures completion of New hire/transfer integration checklist
LMS Administer
Acts as liaison for Education Assistance Program
HR Analytics 10%
Tracks and maintains employee engagement activities
Tracks and maintains job descriptions for plant and BU employees
Tracks and maintains Exit interview data
Tracks Community Relation events and budget
Context and environment
Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
