Space Systems and Technology: Ensuring critical U.S. space activities. We develop technology to meet the challenges of an increasingly congested and contested space domain. Our engineers design, prototype, operate, and assess systems that detect, track, identify, and characterize resident space objects. Given the potential for conventional conflict to extend to space, we conduct R&D on concepts and systems that will provide space mission resilience.

Job Description

The Space Systems and Technology Division is seeking a summer intern to work with the Division Office as well as support the business team across all of the Division's Groups. The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

• Create various financial reports to assist Division and Group Business Managers


• Analyze financial data comparing the plan to actuals to identify variances


• Assist with creating budgets for programs


• Review open commitments to identify purchase orders for closeout


• Review programs with small balances to identify potential program closeouts


• Other financial tasks as assigned by the Division Business Manager

Expected work timeframe: Late May to late August 2021

It is anticipated this will be a fully remote summer intern position.

Requirements

Must be actively enrolled in a Business Administration/Management Bachelor's level degree program at an accredited University.
