We are seeking a Mid-Senior Software Engineer with strong proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript broadly for the Cognizant Accelerator team in Boulder, Colorado. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team working on an exciting new strategic partner initiative within Cognizant and leveraging machine learning techniques to create new business insights. Requirements & Responsibilities:

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of professional development experience in Node.js


• Someone who knows what it means to develop and deliver robust commercial software products that are usable, maintainable, and supportable 


• Strong understanding of Microservices and various data exchange formats


• Experience in tools/methodologies such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Git, Agile etc.


• Experience in AWS or Azure deployment a plus


• B.S. or Equivalent experience


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Someone who wants to contribute to the knowledge growth of a world-class engineering team through collaboration, mentoring, and team discussions  

Nice to have:

• 3+ years of professional development experience in Python


• 2+ years of experience in data science / data engineering technologies

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $(70,000 – 95,000+) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
