If you are an engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will be responsible for developing and supporting our Ultrasonic Flow technology. This position will help develop and design new Ultrasonic products, support existing Ultrasonic product designs, and work with a global team to bring new products to market.

AS AN ULTRASONIC DESIGN ENGINEER, YOU WILL:


  • Utilize mechanical engineering principals to support and develop ultrasonic flow meters.
  • Develop a complete understanding of ultrasonic meters and use that knowledge to advance the state of the art of meter design.
  • Improve existing sensor designs with the latest technologies.
  • Employ effective communication among the project team to achieve goals.
  • Determine and utilize the technical design criteria for the project.
  • Ensure all project drawings are accurate and meet international standards.
  • Work on multifunctional and multination projects teams.
  • Perform design engineering calculations to support the project.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Entry-level engineer with good working knowledge of engineering principles
  • Experience working within a team
  • Possess a strong technical background
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  
  • CAD experience with a basic knowledge of finite elements preferred
