Work on improving parts sourcing process to include USMCA and RoHS, REACH and ELV certificates
Work on improving processes to split from overall Sourcing to Battery Sourcing - Supplier Performance Index, On time To Source, Clear To Build, New Product Introduction Bid List, Standard Request For Quotes
Organize our sourcing Processes – NDA, Contracts, Quotes, information
Gain knowledge of Oracle by reviewing and maintaining Item masters for system integrity
Additional specialized battery projects
Have opportunities to propose new ideas or improvement concepts.
Participate in data analysis and root cause analysis.
Work with world class cross functional teams from quality, engineering, manufacturing, among others.

This position will be part of the Sourcing that supports Proterra’s Sourcing in City of Industry, CA
You will report to the Manager for Sourcing and may collaborate with other team members located at our manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles, CA and Greenville, SC.

Your Experience Includes:
Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master's program for the Spring 2021 semester in a Business or Industrial Engineering.
Must have completed your Junior year or later in your current bachelor's program.
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Apply the theory from college/university course work to real world scenarios / situations.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Proficient in Tableau
Coursework on program management and supply chain
You might also have:
Familiarity with Electric Vehicles
Previous automotive internship experience
Understanding of problem-solving steps and processes to apply in a real-world situation.
