Global Scientific Capability Leader
Leading the Global capability function for the Global Scientific business. Responsible for the technical product capability, Scientific focused segment capability, as well as the technical selling skills for our sales professionals globally. Provide direction to Scientific player/coach capability roles in NA, EMEA and Asia. Develop sales team’s capability through strategic relationships with marketing, & Directors of Sales. Implement new processes and programs to enhance net sales and profit.
Professional capability development of the KCP Global Sales Team to support maintenance and growth of the business to meet profit and net sales growth targets.
Works with marketing to develop strategic capability plans to achieve growth targets in new platforms and products utilizing Adult Learning principles which includes identifying the medium and method for training to create behavior change within the sales force.
Creates strategies for training the sales force related to selling skills and Kimberly-Clark Professional initiatives.
Leads projects that promote net sales by new to KCP programs and/or processes.
Identify capability gaps and programs to address gaps for the entire sales force. Lead the team to design training to fill the gaps.
Lead a team in the development, introduction, and evaluation of team and individual capability development systems and support tools for the Global Scientific sales force.
Master KCP Scientific market segments, products, and platform services to link training and business objectives.
Raise the level of competence and expertise of the sales force regarding segments, products and channels.
Utilize data from assessments of the sales force in order to implement best in class field-based training programs.
Collaborate with Regional GM’s to assess unmet training needs and to recommend training opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in Scientific market equivalent technical sales capability experience
Global experience in B2B preferred
Working across organizational teams and functions to drive results and customer satisfaction.
Developing/managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Clearly explaining/articulating how team’s objectives fit into the organization.
Gathering information and identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision.
Product knowledge in Scientific solutions and corporate messaging.
Travel 25- 40%
