Job Description:

The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for architecting a cost-effective balance between cloud and on-premises systems with the flexibility to quickly adjust for future growth. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud for mission critical systems as well as building out an on-premises data room (e.g. Electrical, UPS, PDU, generators).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with IT Director to develop a comprehensive IT security program, mitigate risk with regulatory and compliance requirements in mind.
Work with IT Director to create networking plans, diagrams, and documentation.
Manage an Azure landscape involving load balancers, clustering, and failover technologies around an SQL.
Monitor resources to assure system availability and capacity for growth.
Assist in developing a company Disaster Recovery program, high availability in Microsoft Azure and on site.
Establishes and maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for overall health of the service and build tools to exercise and evaluate that KPIs are being met.
Provide guidance and mentoring service desk personnel to resolve outstanding issues while maintaining customer SLA.

QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years in depth knowledge of Networking utilizing VMWare/Hyper V. Evaluation and automating the scaling and capacity requirements including Azure environments. -Required
Certification(s) related to the cloud environment (MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or CCNA Cloud). -Preferred
Strong familiarity using various network monitoring and analysis tools.
Strong working knowledge of SQL backup/restores, redundancy, setup and configuration, and performance tuning.
Highly skilled at configuring and troubleshooting firewalls/switches ensuring a high level of QOS.
Expert knowledge in SCCM, patch management and automating software installations.
In depth working knowledge with Active Directory, Office365, Azure AD, LDAP, DNS and Exchange.
